Specialized shoes for deadlifting and a great all-around lifting shoe for your strength workouts.

The all new SABO Deadlift Easy is the perfect budget lifting shoe with all the features you need to hit your next PR.  Includes a breathable upper, an outsole material providing durability and superior grip, and a snug glove like fit.

Main features:

- New anatomical last was created especially for deadlifting.

- New non-marking outsole is made of high density material with a special design for traction.  Soles are ultra thin: 2mm-5mm.

- High cut upper and materials optimal for training.

- Side support on the outsole allows you to spread the floor without your feet rolling over, unlike slippers.

Advantages:

- The soles are thin and flat to decrease pulling distance. A thin sole means the barbell is higher up from the floor relative to the athlete.  This allows for more weight to be lifted since the pulling distance becomes shorter.

- Specialized footwear protects the feet from injuries related to heavy lifting. Protects athletes’ feet from platypodia (flattening of the arches).

- This shoe provides maximum stability for the ankle.

- The soles are made from materials that do not have any give which results in a good surface to push against. The pattern and side support on the outsole minimizes slipping.

Great Value

These are hands down the best lifting shoes I’ve ever owned. Best support and feel. Better than Nikes. Might need to order one size up and one size down to get a better feel. Customer service is top notch.

Good shoe, but toebox is narrow

I hate to take points off for fit, but the front of this shoe would benefit from more space for the foot and toes to spread out. Got size 45 (US Men's 11.5-12), which should have provided a good snug fit as I typically wear regular width 11.5 in casual shoes and 12 in running shoes, which tend to run a bit short/narrow. The length of these shoes is pretty close on my foot, which is desirable for weightlifting applications, but the toebox tapers too much at the toes and puts pressure on my big and pinkie toes. Unfortunately, it's uncomfortable enough to be distracting, so I'm not sure I'll continue to use them. Otherwise, the construction is solid and they definitely make you feel planted. Could be that a size up would have been enough to be comfortable, but deadlift shoes should fit snug - so extra width instead of length would be ideal.

Excellent lifting shoe

As someone who prefers lifting with a flat-sole, I was nervous when ordering that perhaps this shoe wouldn’t function well during squats. I had been using an old pair of toe shoes, which were falling apart and didn’t perform the best during low-bar squats in terms of supporting the midsole of my feet. The Deadlift Easy exceeded my expectations and was immediately comfortable, providing the right amount of support that had been missing from my old Vibram Five Fingers. I highly recommend these shoes as someone who prefers a flat sole for squatting and conventional deadlifts.
